Our process is meant to be as easy as possible. Simply choose a car, a route to take it on, and we’ll take it from there! If you want a custom tour route, or to tour in your own vehicle that we help you find, contact us and we’ll work with you to bring your adventure to life!

Our cars and tours have been carefully curated to bring out the best in each other! Additionally, booking as a whole package allows you to enjoy the benefits of a travel service with more competitive pricing, complete insurance coverage, and concierge support the whole way through.

Prices for each tour are a combination of the route base fare, and a vehicle premium if one of our higher end vehicles is selected. During the route-selection process, the total amount is shown and this is the price you pay, no additional fees.

This tour fare includes:

- The car
- Hotel bookings for two people during the tour (typically a queen or king bed)
- Tickets for attractions along your route
- Airport/hotel pickup and drop-off
- Concierge support the whole way through
- Insurance

We require a 30% security deposit, with the balance due upon arrival.

What you should expect to pay out of pocket:
- Meals and snacks along the way
- Attractions not included in the itinerary
- Fuel

American Classic Adventure's tours feature a fair amount of outdoors activities. We recommend bringing a pair of hiking boots, outdoor clothes, and at least one sweater or jacket. Keep an eye on the weather as your trip gets closer - conditions change quickly and our tours cover a range of altitudes and environments.

In order to simplify the process for our customers from around the world, we have included full liability insurance in the cost of the tour. For Americans and Canadians, please bring a copy of your insurance to hold on file as well.

Drivers must be between 25-75 years of age and hold a valid US/Canadian driver's license, or a valid International Driving License/Permit.

While the cars are certainly a highlight of the adventure, getting time to experience the destinations along the way is just as important - if not moreso. For this reason, the average day of driving is no more than around 4 hours, providing a balance of the road trip experience but also plenty of time to soak up the sites along the way.

Generally, we recommend two people per car, and pricing is based on hotels for two. For larger groups, please contact us and we can work to book you in a larger vehicle, multiple vehicles, or coordinate a third-party rental of an additional SUV or similar for everyone that wants to join!

We've eliminated the guesswork from trip planning, spared you from having to scrutinize hotel reviews, and saved you the hassle of finding good restaurants along the way. All while combining these fantastic sites with iconic vehicles to maximize your travel experience. We’ve done the legwork to ensure you can focus on having fun and enjoying the adventure, seeing only the very best of the region!

Our vehicles have had modern updates to improve their reliability, safety and enjoyability. But you're right - these cars are still very different from modern cars. We can't promise your travel won't be without some hiccups (we'll be there 100% of the time to resolve any issues should they arise), but their timeless style, the waves and thumbs-up, and smiles you will get along the way make it all worth it and are unique to the classic car experience!

American Classic Adventures is all about providing an authentic, high-quality travel experience. For this reason, we avoid chain hotels and instead focus on locally-owned hotels, motels and inns - typically 3- and 4-star establishments - that highlight the culture, history and personality of the areas in which they are located.

We had the road trip of a lifetime with American Classic Adventures! We went back in time to 1957, cruising the most stunning parts of Route 66 in a classic red Chevy truck. With one notable exception: the truck was far more comfortable due to the upgrades that ACA put in, and handled the mountainous roads like a dream! We even had A/C!

What a way to spend a weekend in & around Las Vegas! I've been to the Strip a few times before but hadn't explored the surrounding areas - really quite an astounding part of the country. We went at our own pace (which was nice because we kept getting compliments on our pickup) and got to know the area quite well by the end! This is absolutely the right way to do Route 66. Would highly, highly recommend!
