This short tour allows you to break away from the Strip and see what makes the Las Vegas region so special. Spend the first day taking some short hikes and checking out the incredible parks just out side of the city. On the second day, take a trip through history as you travel back down Route 66, visiting towns that time left behind!

Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1
Redrock Outdoor Adventures - The first day of this activity-packed trip focuses on the immediate Las Vegas region, beginning with a cruise down the famous Red Rock Canyon. Lunch will take you to the Northwest side of the city, before heading up to Valley of Fire national park for the afternoon. Finally, a scenic drive through the empty, twisting roads along Lake Mead bring you to Boulder City for the evening.

Route 66 Excursion - Rise and shine early! The day starts with a sunrise visit to the Hoover Dam to watch the sun come up over Lake Mead. Once the sun comes up, a short one-hour drive bring you down to Kingman, AZ, the “Heart of Route 66”. After seeing the sights in Kingman, you’ll make your way through the winding Sitgreaves Pass and into the old mining town of Oatman, AZ. Finally, you’ll head back up a rural highway, arrow-straight for stretches of 15 miles, getting back into Vegas just as the sun is setting over the horizon!
