Itinerary
Stop 1
Stop 1
Hoover Dam - Heading out in the morning, your first stop heading out of town will be the Hoover Dam. Enjoy views of this engineering marvel from both the Lake Mead and the Colorado River perspective before heading back down the highway towards Route 66!
Stop 2
Stop 2
Kingman, Route 66 - Next, a short one-hour drive brings you down to Kingman, AZ, the “Heart of Route 66”. Get a photo of your car under the Route 66 sign, and check out the historic district, including retro diners and a Route 66 museum.
Stop 3
Stop 3
Hackberry General Store, Route 66 - 25 empty miles down Route 66 is the Hackberry General store. Previously a filling stop, today it is a Route 66 institution, with visitors from around the world leaving their mark on the walls and windows of the classic shop!
Stop 4
Stop 4
Oatman Ghost Town - Further down Route 66, you'll take the "Sidewinder" through Sitgreave's Pass, one of the trickiest mountain passes along the Mother Road. Enjoy incredible views at the top of the pass before heading into the Oatman ghost town, complete with Wild West Shootouts, Donkeys in the Street and vintage shops and restaurants.
