Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1
Start the trip with a late-morning departure from Las Vegas, taking the scenic route on arrow-straight highways down to the California border. Travel a portion of old Route 66, visiting towns that history left behind with the advent of the Interstate system. Finally a short jaunt brings you down to Joshua Tree for the evening where you can enjoy the incredible night sky views.
Day 2
Day 2
Explore the strange rock outcroppings and coral-like vegetation as you drive through Joshua Tree National Park. In the afternoon, wind your way up out of the desert and into the hills of the Temecula Valley. Treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of the Temecula Valley wineries and enjoy the scenic vineyards.
Day 3
Day 3
The third day of the trip trades mountains for coastline as you descend down into San Diego. Relax on the beach, bike around Coronado Island, and have dinner at one of the countless restaurants in the area.
Day 4
Day 4
Day four is all about enjoying the California coastline as you follow the Pacific Coast Highway up through Orange County and into LA county. Pull over along the way and hop in the ocean or stop for some beachside tacos. Today is all about taking it slow and checking out everything along the way.
Day 5
Day 5
Starting the day in the south bay region, today you'll head up into the city. Hike up to the Hollywood sign, take a studio tour, and cruise along Mulholland Drive. Spend the last night of your tour relaxing down by the beach, enjoying the waves and salt air one last time.
Day 6
Day 6
Wake up to the sound of the surf pounding on the beach. Spend a lazy morning packing up and grabbing a cup of coffee before you make the drive back to Las Vegas. Cruising through the desert, you are greeted with the iconic sight of the lights of Las Vegas appearing in the distance as you drive through the mountains. That evening, we’ll bring you to your choice of hotel on the strip to enjoy Vegas and show off the photos from your once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
